All Sunny Boys (except for the Sunny Boy 2800i) are equipped with a waterproof and dust resistant enclosure made of aluminum or stainless steel. This protects the electronics and lets you install the Sunny Boy wherever you want?inside or outside.

All Sunny Boy inverters are shipped with weatherproof plug connectors for both AC and DC connection. This reduces installation costs.

Flexible

Sunny Boy inverters are suitable for small PV-plants with 400 Wp as well as for large plants in the megawatt range. More than 15 years of experience with grid interactive plants and references all over the globe prove this.

Support

The Sunny Boy Hotline will assist you from the very beginning, this starts with your first plans to install a PV-system. The hotline will assist you with the installation of your plant as well as with the connection to the utility. And in case your Sunny Boy should show signs of failure: SMA will send you an exchange device within 24 hours.

Warranty

All Sunny Boys are shipped with a 2 year warranty. The warranty can be extended to 5 years upon customer request. After the warranty period SMA offers inexpensive lump sum repair service. This lets you keep track of your budget.
